Program Description


The Culinary Arts program at JABCC prepares students for today's workforce.  The onsite student-operated restaurant creates a real-life food service industry experience for the students.  Emphasis is placed on a positive work ethic, professionalism, customer service, sanitation/safety, cooking and baking production.  Each student during their three year job training education will work in the following capacities:



  • Front-of-the-house service

  • To-go, fast food sevice

  • Back-of-the house prep and cooking stations

  • Baking and pastry production

  • Sanitation/dishwashing/clean-up

  • Floater/roundsmen
